This
auction is for a set of Genuine Aged Magna-Tusk ™ Ivory grips for ANY of the
current or former Uberti made Colt SAA style revolvers.  This includes any of the 1873 Single Action
Cattleman series, the Stallion, the Buntline, any of the El Patron series, the
Cattleman .22, the Horseman, the 1873 Cattleman II, SASS Pro, CMS Pro, Evil
Roy, or any of the other Uberti “plowhandle” style pistols, including anything
sold by Cimarron, Taylors, Navy Arms, EMF, Stoeger, or any of the other
importers.  The purchase price includes
full custom fitting in our shop. 

To
properly do the custom fitting, we will need for you to send in your frontstrap/triggerguard,
and your backstrap ONLY.  We need only these
two pieces and do not need anything else (including the screws), and ask that
you keep all other parts in a safe place until your completed grips and
gripframe parts are returned to you. 
Upon purchase of the grips, you will receive instructions on where to
send the parts.  Turnaround time is
expected to run around 1 to 2 weeks from receipt of the parts, depending on our
production schedule.  We keep a full
stock of Uberti grip blanks on hand, in 80% finished condition, with only final
fitting needed, for the quickest turnaround possible.  Please keep
in mind that the aging process takes some time and involves curing in full hard
sunlight as part of the process, so we are somewhat dependent on the Arizona
sun, which usually cooperates, but not always!

Note that
this auction is offered for Single Action Army style revolvers only, and is not
intended for other designs, such as the 1858 or 1875 Remington, etc.  However, if you have a non-SAA style revolver,
please drop us an email and tell us what you have, and we will always try to
accomodate you if our schedule permits.  We
also produce Bisley and Birdshead grips for the Uberti revolvers.  If you have a Pietta revolver, we can do
those as well.  Feel free to contact us

About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade” Ivory Grips:

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an
exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of a super
high-grade, ultra-high density Ivory material developed exclusively for our
premium grip production.  Vastly superior
to standard bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips,
Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is
the toughest alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining
the pristine look of real ivory.  It is
completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is
entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact
resistance of alternative materials. 
Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance
involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained
properly or if left in the heat.  It is made with premium compounds to produce outstanding
aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process,
it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details
which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain
structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc.,
found on many historic grips.
