In order to do the
custom fitting, we will need to send in your frontstrap (triggerguard), and
your backstrap only.  We do not need the entire
revolver, and no other parts are necessary.  Please keep all these
parts for safekeeping. 

Our experienced
gripmakers have a vast amount of experience in manufacturing and custom fitting
grips for a vast array of original Colt SAA's, Bisleys, USFA SAA's, original
and reproduction Percussion (Cap & Ball) revolvers, Uberti and Pietta SAA’s,
and many other reproductions and originals.  We have made grips for and
performed work for U.S. military officials, Hollywood production teams,
museums, high-end collectors, and in addition for the general shooting public
who appreciate a finely custom fitted grip. 
We have done hundreds of custom fitting projects, including grips for
many well-known authentic historic firearms used in the Old West now in the
hands of collectors. 

Upon purchase of the
grips, you will receive instructions on where to send the parts.  We
also have “off the shelf” grips that should be a close match to your frame if
you prefer not to send your parts in for a quicker turnaround.  Normal
turnaround time is usually 4 to 6 weeks, although we do our best to expedite
production without  compromising the
quality that we are known for.

About Magna-Tusk™ Ivory
and Stag Grips:

 Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag grips, a
product of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our
high-grade, high density ivory material designed from the beginning as a premium,
high-strength grip material.  Vastly
superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on most factory and other
aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil
and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today,
while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag.  It is
rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is
flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the
strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike
with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care and maintenance involved,
with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if
left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural compounds to
produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical
performance.  When aged with our natural aging process, it takes on
the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many
experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material
has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic
relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.
