Magna-Tusk™ Ivory, then aged to perfection -- the highest quality grips of

Colt Cowboy

Brand New, unused Magna-Tusk™ grips for the Colt
Cowboy revolvers.  

The Colt Cowboy was produced by Colt from 1998
to 2003.  Aimed toward the Cowboy Action
Shooting market, the Cowboy incorporated an investment cast receiver, transfer
bar safety, and enhanced lockwork meant to compete with revolvers such as the
Ruger Vaquero, while retaining the fine balance and handling of the classic
Single Action Army.  Many consider the
Cowboy’s mechanical build quality to be superior and more robust than the SAA,
and better suited for the rigors imposed upon it in the competitive shooting
sports.  Since being discontinued, the
Cowboy has since garnered somewhat of a collectible status in the market among
Colt collectors and shooters alike. 

Please note that these grips will NOT properly fit the 1^st,
2nd or 3rd Generation Colt SAA models.   

Also, these will NOT fit any revolvers of any
different maker, including the Uberti, Pietta, or any other Italian or

About Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag Grips:

 Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag grips, a product of Arizona Custom
Grips, are manufactured out of our high-grade, high density ivory material
designed exclusively as a premium, high-strength grip material.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory or
stag found on most factory and other aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable
of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative
grip material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real
ivory or stag.  It is rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and
oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely
void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative
materials.  Unlike with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care
and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not
maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with
premium natural compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and
mechanical performance.  When aged with our natural aging process, it
takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details
which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In
addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail
for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.

About Our
Aging Process:

We go to great efforts to ensure that our
Aged Ivory or Stag not only looks similar
to, but in fact looks identical to
the real thing.  Our Magna-Tusk blanks will
produce an aged Ivory grip unlike any other material made today.  Our aged grips feature an authentic aged patina, just like the
originals, with a process incorporating concentrated U.V. light (the essential
aging property in natural sunlight), along with a developer/control agent that
is put on the grips to carefully control U.V. absorption, in a sealed,
high-oxygen environment to accelerate the natural aging process. 

Through this aging process, these grips become
beautifully mottled, variegated, and weathered just like old, antique Ivory, and incorporate other authentic
details found on original old Ivory as seen on many of the revolvers which
belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West.  As with real aged Ivory, Magna-Tusk develops
a variegated patina due to its authentic grain structure, and natural aging
produces an authentic appearance and genuine patina which extends into and
below the surface.  Not
only does this give it the appearance of authenticity and depth, but this
surface will not chip, crack, or peel like a superficially applied
coating.  With
Magna-Tusk aged grips, most experts cannot tell them apart from a decades-old
or even a centuries-old original.  While
the quality difference is somewhat noticeable in the photos, the difference is
even more apparent when seen and handled in person.  Many of our repeat sales are made by the very
customers we sell to, who take their grips to the range, where our grips are
immediately seen and noticed by others.  If
