This auction is for a set of Genuine Aged Magna-Tusk ™ Ivory grips for the Colt 1^st, 2^nd, or 3^rd Generation revolvers made in the “Two-Piece” style (with a screw hole).  The purchase price includes full custom fitting in our shop. 

Please note, if you currently have a one-piece style gripframe (i.e., no grip pin in your gripframe), and want to convert to a two-piece style grip (so you can remove the grips with a single screw), we can still fit these grips to your frame using our grip conversion kit, without modifying your revolver in any way.  Just let us know after the purchase that that is what you want to do.

If you have another make or model SAA style revolver that you want grips for, (such as made by Uberti, Pietta, US Firearms, Beretta, Taurus, etc.), feel free to go ahead and purchase these and drop us an email telling us which make of revolver you are having them made for. 

We have a vast amount of experience in manufacturing custom-fitted grips for original Colt SAA's, Colt Bisleys, USFA SAA's, etc.  In order to do the custom fitting, we will need to send in your frontstrap (triggerguard), and your backstrap only.  We do not need the entire revolver, and no other parts are necessary.  Please keep all these parts for safekeeping. 

Upon purchase of the grips, you will receive instructions on where to send the parts.  We also have “off the shelf” grips that should be a close match to your frame if you prefer to do it that way.  If you have been looking for a custom fitted grip to enhance your revolver, look no further!  We have done hundreds of custom fitting projects, including many well-known authentic historic firearms used in the Old West now in the hands of collectors.

About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade” Ivory Grips:

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of a super high-grade, ultra-high density Ivory material developed exclusively for our premium grip production.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory.  It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc., found on many historic grips.
