This
auction is for a set of Genuine Aged Magna-Tusk ™ Ivory grips for any
of the 1851 Navy style revolvers, either in the original Cap and Ball
format or Cartridge Conversion, from any maker, whether made by Colt, Uberti,
Pietta, Armi San Marcos, etc.  The
purchase price includes full custom fitting in our shop. 

Our
experienced gripmakers have the tools and the expertise to create some of the
finest custom fitted grips in the world. 
We have manufactured grips for movie producers, historical reinactors,
museums, as well as restoration grips for famous historical arms, (such as
Pancho Villa’s original Colt Bisley, etc.)

In order
for us to do our precise custom fit, you will need to send in your trigger guard,
and your backstrap only.  No other parts
are necessary, and we recommend that you keep these in a safe place until your
grips and parts are returned. 

Upon
purchase of the grips, you will receive instructions on where to send the
parts.  Turnaround time is expected to be
somewhere around between 3 to 4 weeks from receipt of the parts, depending on
our production schedule.

product of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our
high-grade, high density ivory material designed from the beginning as a premium,
high-strength grip material.  Vastly
superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on most factory and other
aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil
and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today,
while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag.  It is
rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is
flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the
strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike
with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care and maintenance involved,
with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if
left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural compounds to
produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical
performance.  When aged with our natural aging process, it takes on
the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many
experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material
has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic
relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.
