(nO SCREWHOLE) STYLE

THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE ONE-PIECE (NO SCREWHOLE) STYLE.

Note: ANY of
our grips, whether ONE-PIECE OR TWO PIECE style, will interchange and
work on either style of grip frame.

One-Piece grips use a spacer (user
installed) between the panels instead of a screw, which results in a rock-tight
fit.  Our Two-Piece grips on the other
hand come with a free Conversion Kit to enable use on your grip frame, without
any modification of your revolver.  Full illustrated
instructions are included with each set of grips.

What these will fit:

This auction is for a
set of Genuine Magna-Tusk™ grips for the EAA BOUNTY HUNTER (Model
1873 SAA style revolvers).

The EAA Bounty Hunter, made by Weihrauch of Germany and imported by
European American Arms in Florida, incorporates a transfer bar safety and a
slightly larger frame than the Colt SAA, capable of handling the .44 Magnum.

The Bounty Hunter owes its lineage to the well known Hawes Western Marshall revolvers, made by the J.P.
Sauer & Sohn firm in Germany from the late 1960’s to the 1970’s.  J.P. Sauer later acquired the Swiss gunmaker
SIG, changing the company name to Sig Sauer.
At that time, Sauer began focusing on autoloaders and sold its revolver operation
and tooling to Herman Weihrauch Waffenfabrik, who added a transfer bar safety and
continued production of the revolver as the Bounty
Hunter
.

What these will NOT fit

Please note that these grips are made to
fit ONLY the EAA BOUNTY HUNTER Single Action revolvers.
These will NOT fit any revolvers from other
makers (such as Uberti, Pietta, Armi San Marco, Colt, Ruger, etc.).  Please drop us an email if you have any
questions, we are always happy to help.

For an additional charge, custom fitting is an
option.  Please contact us for further details if you are interested
in custom fitting.

Arizona Custom Grips

About Magna-Tusk™ Ivory
and Stag Grips:

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag grips, a
product of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our
high-grade, high density ivory material designed exclusively as a premium,
high-strength grip material.  Vastly
superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on most factory and other
aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil
and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today,
while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag.  It is
rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is
flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the
strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative
materials.  Unlike with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care
and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not
maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with
premium natural compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and
mechanical performance.  When aged with our natural aging process, it
takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details
which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In
addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail
for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.

About Our Aging Process:

We
go to great efforts to ensure that our Aged Ivory or Stag not only looks similar to, but in fact looks identical to the real thing.  Our Magna-Tusk blanks will produce an aged
Ivory grip unlike any other material made today.
Our aged grips feature an
authentic aged patina, just like the originals, with a process incorporating
concentrated U.V. light (the essential aging property in natural sunlight), along
with a developer/control agent that is put on the grips to carefully control
U.V. absorption, in a sealed, high-oxygen environment to accelerate the natural
aging process.

Through
this aging process, these grips become beautifully mottled, variegated, and weathered
just like old, antique Ivory, and
incorporate other authentic details found on original old Ivory as seen on many
of the revolvers which belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West.  As with real aged Ivory, Magna-Tusk develops
a variegated patina due to its authentic grain structure, and natural aging
produces an authentic appearance and genuine patina which extends into and
below the surface.
Not only does this give it the appearance of
authenticity and depth, but this surface will not chip, crack, or peel like a
superficially applied coating.
With Magna-Tusk aged
grips, most experts cannot tell them apart from a decades-old or even a
centuries-old original.  While the
quality difference is somewhat noticeable in the photos, the difference is even
more apparent when seen and handled in person.
Many of our repeat sales are made by the very customers we sell to, who
take their grips to the range, where our grips are immediately seen and noticed
by others.  If you are interested in
ordering grips for a Brace of pistols, please order both sets together, and we
will ensure a better matchup when selecting pairs.

Dense, heavy, and solid, Magna-Tusk grips are in a class all their
own.
With our exclusive aging process, these grips
are outstanding right out of the box, and will continue to improve over
time.  The more these grips are handled
and used, the better they look!
