Brand New, premium American-made grips for the Henry Big Boy Revolvers (.38/.357, etc.) and/or Golden Boy (.22 Cal) Revolvers. 

As most shooters prefer for better performance and handling, these Henry grips have been manufactured a full thickness top (i.e., without a “scallop”), which enhances controllability and shootability of the revolver, better taming felt recoil upon firing, with faster follow-up shots due to less shift in the hand during firing.  This results in a more natural feel, similar to the classic revolvers made by Colt and S&W in the 1930s to the 1950s, and in addition offers better repeatability of hand placement which enhances accuracy.

What these WILL FIT:

Please note that these will ONLY fit the “Birdshead” style gripframes, and will NOT fit the “Gunfighter” (“i.e., “Squarebutt”) gripframe style revolvers. 

Please take a careful look at the pictures, and compare with your revolver grip frame.  If you have a Gunfighter/Squarebutt style gripframe, please see our other listings for the correct grips, or contact us if you cannot find what you need.

Please note that these grips come with installed hardware (escutcheons) but do not include screws.  The original screws that came with the revolver should be used to secure the grips.

About Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag Grips:

 Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag grips, a product of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our high-grade, high density ivory material designed exclusively as a premium, high-strength grip material.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on most factory and other aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag.  It is rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our natural aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.

About Our Aging Process:

We go to great efforts to ensure that our Aged Ivory or Stag not only looks similar to, but in fact looks identical to the real thing.  Our Magna-Tusk blanks will produce an aged Ivory grip unlike any other material made today.  Our aged grips feature an authentic aged patina, just like the originals, with a process incorporating concentrated U.V. light (the essential aging property in natural sunlight), along with a developer/control agent that is put on the grips to carefully control U.V. absorption, in a sealed, high-oxygen environment to accelerate the natural aging process. 

Through this aging process, these grips become beautifully mottled, variegated, and weathered just like old, antique Ivory, and incorporate other authentic details found on original old Ivory as seen on many of the revolvers which belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West.  As with real aged Ivory, Magna-Tusk develops a variegated patina due to its authentic grain structure, and natural aging produces an authentic appearance and genuine patina which extends into and below the surface.  Not only does this give it the appearance of authenticity and depth, but this surface will not chip, crack, or peel like a superficially applied coating.  With Magna-Tusk aged grips, most experts cannot tell them apart from a decades-old or even a centuries-old original.  While the quality difference is somewhat noticeable in the photos, the difference is even more apparent when seen and handled in person.  Many of our repeat sales are made by the very customers we sell to, who take their grips to the range, where our grips are immediately seen and noticed by others.  If you are interested in ordering grips for a Brace of pistols, please order both sets together, and we will ensure a better matchup when selecting pairs.
