note that these will fit the Ruger Birdshead style gripframes ONLY, and WILL
NOT fit the “Plowhandle” or “Bisley” styles of gripframes, or other shapes, whether
made by Ruger or any other maker.

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an exclusive of Arizona
Custom Grips, are manufactured out of a super high-grade, ultra-high
density Ivory material developed exclusively for our premium grip
production.  Vastly superior to standard
bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ is
capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest
alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristine
look of real ivory.  It is completely
rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is
entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact
resistance of alternative materials. 
Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance
involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained
properly or if left in the heat.  It is
filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding
aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process,
it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details
which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain
structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc.,
found on many historic grips.  

About Our Aging Process:  These grips are specially made to
have a genuine, antique patina found on many historic guns.  These grips
feature authentic color mottling, variegation, and subtle wear marks as seen on
many of the revolvers which belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old
West. 

We offer the
highest quality, most authentic imitation Aged Ivory grips available anywhere
on the market.  Genuine aged Ivory grips
are highly sought after on the collector’s market, with prices going into many
hundreds of dollars.  It almost always
commands a premium over “new” (white) Ivory. 
Our aging technique yields a product that is authentic in appearance
without the associated fragility and scarcity of real Ivory. 

These grips are
slowly aged using a special process employing concentrated UV light (the
essential aging property in natural sunlight), and in addition employing heat
and pressure in a special controlled high oxygen-rich environment which
accelerates the aging process.  Unlike a
painted surface, our patina actually extends below the surface, into the grip material itself.  Not only does it look better to begin with,
but will not chip, crack, or peel, like superficially applied surfaces.  The result is nothing short of spectacular --
an outstanding, authentic, genuine aged surface without a 100-year wait.  With our exclusive aging process, these grips
are outstanding right out of the box, and will continue to improve over
time.  The more these grips are handled
and used, just like any genuine patina, the better they look! 

Grip screw included
with all grips.  Minor fitting may be
required depending on your grip frame.
