These grips are made to fit the following Ruger revolvers.  Please also read exclusions below, especially if you have a “Flattop” model.

●New Model Ruger Blackhawks (these say “New Model” Blackhawk on the frame)

●“Old Model” Ruger Blackhawks (these were made from 1963 to 1973, and simply say “Blackhawk” on the frame). 

●Old Army

●Single Six (made after 1963 only*).

●Super Single Six

●Single Seven

●Single Nine

●Single Ten

●“Old” Vaquero (not the New Vaquero). 

If your revolver has a 2-digit serial number prefix (i.e., 55-xxxxx), you have an “Old” Vaquero, and these will fit.  If you have a 3-digit prefix, see our store and select the “New Vaquero” category. 

●All Super Blackhawks with a round trigger guard, EXCEPT the Hunter model. 

Note: if you have any Super Blackhawk with a square-backed trigger guard, OR you have the Hunter model (it will say “Hunter” on the revolver), please visit our store and select our “Super Blackhawk” grips.

*Note: if you have a pre-1963 Blackhawk or Single Six, please contact us for proper grips.

These will NOT fit:

New Vaqueros.  All “New” Vaqueros have a 3-digit serial number prefix (i.e., 555-xxxxx).

Any “Flattop” model Rugers, even if they say “Blackhawk”.  Please see the photo above to see what a “flattop” model is.  If you have a Flattop revolver, please see our store and select “New Vaquero” as all of our New Vaquero grips are made to fit these revolvers properly, unless you have one of the old pre-1963 Flattops, in which case please contact us for availability as we usually make these on a custom basis.

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our super high-grade, ultra-high density Ivory material developed exclusively for our premium grip production.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory.  It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc., found on many historic grips. 

Please note: We make every effort to ensure the best fit possible.  Besides using exacting standards and state-of-the art-equipment in our manufacturing operations, every set of grips is hand checked on our test frame for proper fit prior to leaving our factory.  This ensures the best fit in the industry.  Occasionally, however, your grip pin may have been installed slightly out of alignment or position, and you may find it necessary to slightly open up the grip pin holes on the back of the grips to get the grips to seat fully.  Full, easy to follow instructions are provided with every set of grips.
