New, unused grips for the Ruger pre-1963 (original XR3 gripframe)
"Blackhawk" and “Single Six” Revolvers.  Please note that these will NOT fit the later
Blackhawks and Single Six revolvers with the later XR3-RED gripframe, which
Ruger started producing around 1963.  If
your revolver was made in 1963 or later, these grips will NOT fit.  If you are unsure which gripframe you have or
when your revolver was made, please drop us an email along with your serial number
and we can look it up.  Also please note
that these grips will NOT fit any of the Birdsheads, Bisleys, Super Blackhawks,
or any of the New Vaquero or “Old” Vaquero revolvers.

About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade”
Ivory Grips:

 Our Ivory grips, an
exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are made out of Magna-Tusk™,
our premium high-grade, ultra-high density ivory material designed specifically
to improve on the inherent fragility and weakness of standard Bonded Ivory, which is used
on just about all factory and regular aftermarket ivory grips made today.  Bonded Ivory is a brittle material, not well suited for grips, and will weaken
and develop stress fractures over time with repeated use, firing, and
handling.  Magna-Tusk™ is capable of
withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative Ivory
grip material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real
ivory.  These grips are not cast or made out of an inferior
lightweight material such as urethane, but are as heavy and dense as real ivory,
and just like the originals, milled out of a solid block, one at a time.  And even better than real Ivory, Magna-Tusk
is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil
resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, will not melt like
Urethane or plastic, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength,
durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike
with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no
danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in
the heat.  It is produced with outstanding aesthetic properties and
mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process,
it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details
which most experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In
addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail
for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.

Besides using exacting standards and
state-of-the-art CNC equipment in our manufacturing operations, every set of
grips is hand checked on our test frame for proper fit prior to leaving our
factory.  This ensures the best fit in
the industry.  Grip screw and full, easy to follow installation instructions
are provided with every set of grips.
