These grips WILL FIT the following Ruger revolvers ONLY:

• Ruger Super Blackhawks with Square-Backed (Dragoon Style) trigger guard, OR the “Hunter” model which has a Rounded trigger guard.

Note: your revolver MUST say “Super Blackhawk” and have a square-backed trigger guard, OR say “Super Blackhawk Hunter” (which has a rounded trigger guard) for these to fit.  Please note that these grips will NOT fit any other Super Blackhawk with a Round trigger guard.  We have grips for all other models, so please contact us for the proper grip or if you are unsure.  We will be happy to help!

Note: these will not fit any of the standard Blackhawks (which will only say “Blackhawk” or “New Model Blackhawk” on the frame, without using the word “Super”); the Vaqueros; the Single Six, Single Seven, Single Nine, and Single Tens; the Old Army; the Wrangler; or any of the Super Blackhawks with a rounded trigger guard (except for the Hunter model).  Please also note that these will not fit if your gripframe is the Birdshead or Bisley style.  We have grips for all of these, so please contact us for the proper grips or if you are unsure.

About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade” Ivory Grips:

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory grips, an exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our super high-grade, ultra-high density Ivory material developed exclusively for our premium grip production.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory found on factory and other aftermarket Ivory grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative ivory material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory.  It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, imitation stag, etc., found on many historic grips. 

Please note: We make every effort to ensure the best fit possible.  Besides using exacting standards and state-of-the art-equipment in our manufacturing operations, every set of grips is hand checked on our test frame for proper fit prior to leaving our factory.  This ensures the best fit in the industry.  Occasionally, however, your grip pin may have been installed slightly out of alignment or position, and you may find it necessary to slightly open up the grip pin holes on the back of the grips to get the grips to seat fully.  Full, easy to follow instructions are provided with every set of grips.
