(Please read this entire section carefully in order to make sure you get the correct grips):

These grips WILL FIT the following Ruger revolvers ONLY:

• Ruger Super Blackhawks with Square-Backed (Dragoon Style) trigger guard, OR the Super Blackhawk “Hunter” model which has a Rounded trigger guard.

Note: your revolver MUST say “Super Blackhawk” and have a square-backed trigger guard (see picture above), OR say “Super Blackhawk Hunter” (which has a rounded trigger guard) for these to fit.  Please note that these grips will NOT fit any other Super Blackhawk with a Round trigger guard.  If you have a one of these, any of our standard “Blackhawk” grips are properly milled to fit, and you can find these in our store. 

We have grips for these and all other models, so please contact us for the proper grip or if you are unsure.  We will be happy to help!

What these will NOT fit:

These will NOT fit any of the standard Ruger Blackhawks.  Standard Blackhawks will only say “Blackhawk” or “New Model Blackhawk” on the frame, without using the word “Super”.   So, if your revolver does not say “Super” on the side of the receiver, these will NOT fit.  You will need one of our standard Blackhawk grips.

Also, these will NOT fit any of the Vaqueros; the Single Six, Single Seven, Single Nine, and Single Tens; the Old Army; the Wrangler; or (as noted above) any of the Super Blackhawks with a rounded trigger guard, except for the Hunter model. 

Please also note that these will NOT fit the Birdshead or Bisley style gripframes, which are a completely different shape than the Super Blackhawk grip.  We have grips for all of these, so please contact us for the proper grips or if you are unsure.

Magna-Tusk™ Ivory and Stag grips, an exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips, are manufactured out of our super high-grade, ultra-high density material developed exclusively for our premium grip production.  Vastly superior to standard bonded ivory or stag found on factory and other aftermarket grips, Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact, and is the toughest alternative grip material available today, while still retaining the pristine look of real ivory or stag.  It is completely rock-solid, stable, and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant, and is entirely void-free, with over 10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative materials.  Unlike with real ivory or stag, there is no routine care and maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is filled with premium natural and synthetic compounds to produce outstanding aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina, with subtle grain details which many experts cannot tell apart from the real thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many historic grips.
