two-PIECE
(with SCREWHOLE) STYLE

One-Piece vs. Two-Piece
Grips
: Many people prefer the clean lines of a grip without a
screwhole (One-Piece), while others prefer the look and convenience of a
Two-Piece grip (with a screw), which is easier to remove for cleaning or
maintenance.  Both styles were originally
made by Colt in the 1800’s, and both are historically correct.  Whichever style you choose really depends on
the look you are after.  We manufacture
both styles.

Note: ANY of
our grips, whether ONE-PIECE OR TWO PIECE style, will interchange and
work on either style of grip frame.

THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE TWO-PIECE (SCREWHOLE) STYLE.

We include, free of charge, a conversion kit
which allows these two-piece grips to mount onto a one-piece style grip frame
(without a grip pin).  Our conversion kit replaces the need for a
grip pin and is actually a stronger design, and locks the grips up tight
against the frame, allowing no movement.
This
gives you the advantage of the ease of maintenance of two-piece grips, while
preserving the integrity of your revolver in original factory condition.

Grip screw, conversion kit, and
full instructions with illustrations are included with each set of grips.

Whichever style you choose, you
are guaranteed to get the best quality grips on the market, made to last a
lifetime, for your shooting pleasure and enjoyment.

WHAT THESE WILL FIT (Please read this through in its
entirety)
:

These Grips WILL FIT

ANY of the standard
sized UBERTI 1873 Single Action Army
“plowhandle” style revolvers.

These will be
marked “Uberti,” and may also (but not necessarily) be marked by the U.S. importer,
such as “Cimarron,” “Taylors & Co.”, “Navy Arms”, or “EMF”, etc.

In addition to
fitting any of the standard Uberti SAA style revolvers, our grips will fit any
of the following:

Uberti Revolvers: Cimarron / Uberti Cattleman,
1873 Cattleman II, Cimarron Model P, Evil Roy, El Patron, Hombre*,
American Arms Regulator*, Cimarron New Sheriff, Uberti US 7th
Cavalry, U.S.V. Artillery,
and Cavalry
Scout
, Pistoleer, Holy Smoker, Wyatt Earp Buntline, Rooster
Shooter
, Chisholm, Cody, Desperado, Frisco, Old West, Stallion, Buntline, Horseman, SASS Pro, CMS Pro, E.M.F.
Dakota II* or Dakota III*;

Also:  Taylor’s & Co.  Smoke
Wagon
, Cattleman, Gambler, Cattleman 12-Shot, Runnin’
Iron
, Taylor Marshall, Drifter, Devil Anse, Old Randall*,
and Ranch Hand*;

OR ANY OF THE OTHER STANDARD UBERTI “PLOWHANDLE” STYLE PISTOLS.

*PLEASE NOTE: if you have a BRASS
gripframe (such as found on the Hombre,
the Regulator, the Dakota II or III, Old Randall, or Ranch Hand
revolvers), you MUST contact us
prior to ordering and let us check availability, as these incorporate additional
grip requirements and machining cuts.
These grips have the proper
machining cuts and dimensions for all the other variations listed.

What these WILL NOT FIT

1.  Please note that these grips are made to fit ONLY the Uberti Model 1873 style Single Action revolvers, with the
typical “plowhandle” shaped gripframe, and will NOT fit other makes of revolvers (such as Pietta, Armi San
Marco, Colt, Ruger, etc.).  These grips will
also NOT fit the Bisley, the
Birdshead, the Thunderer or the Lightning style revolvers, from ANY maker, which
use a completely different shaped grip frame.
Please email if you have any questions.

2.  In addition, these WILL NOT FIT grip frames which are around 3-1/2” tall.  To make sure you are ordering the correct
grip, please check your grip frame measurement prior to ordering.  Y
our grips
or grip frame should measure somewhere between 3-1/16 – 3-1/8” tall, depending on how you hold your ruler,
tape, or caliper.  The important thing is
to make sure they are NOT around 3-1/2” tall.
Taylor & Co.’s Gunfighter, the El Patron
Grizzly Paw
, and the Uberti Callahan,
for example, have the taller (3-1/2” tall) grip frame.   If you
have one of these, our Uberti 1860 Army Conversion & Metallic Cartridge
revolver grips will work for these.

Please send us an
email and tell us your specific model if you cannot locate what you need, or if
you have any questions.  We are always
happy to help.

A note on
the Italian-produced Revolvers:

The
Italian firms, located in Northern Italy, have been making SAA style revolvers
now for well over a half century, and have made a huge number of makes and
models and grip frame profiles with varying configurations over the years.  We have an in-depth knowledge of the
differing grip configurations, have a large library of gripframe variations
from the various makers both old and new, and have vast experience making grips
for Uberti, Pietta, Armi San Marco, and the other Italian gunmaking firms.   Our experienced makers go to great lengths
to ensure an exacting fit, including utilizing modern precision CNC production
techniques, as well as incorporating old-time hand tuning and hand checking the
fit of every grip on our reference frames prior to leaving our factory.  We have a long list of many satisfied
customers in the shooting industry who have purchased grips to use in a wide
variety of applications, and we can safely and confidently guarantee proper fit
and finish to your complete satisfaction.

For an
additional charge, custom fitting is an option.

Arizona Custom Grips

About our exclusive Magna-Tusk™ “Hi-Grade”
Ivory Grips:

Our Ivory grips, an exclusive of Arizona Custom Grips,
are made out of a premium high-grade, ultra-high density ivory material (Magna-Tusk™), designed from the ground
up as a premium grip material to greatly improve on the inherent fragility and
weakness of the cheaper Bonded Ivory used on just about all factory and regular
aftermarket ivory grips today.  Standard
Bonded Ivory is brittle, and tends to weaken and develop stress fractures over
time with repeated use, firing, and handling.
Magna-Tusk™ is capable of withstanding the heaviest recoil and impact,
and is the toughest alternative Ivory grip material available today, while
still retaining the pristine look of real ivory.  These grips are not
cast or made out of an inferior, lightweight material, but are heavy and dense,
carefully milled out of a solid block, one at a time.  Magna-Tusk is completely rock-solid, stable,
and water, chemical, and oil resistant.  It is flame and heat resistant,
will not melt like Urethane or plastic, and is entirely void-free, with over
10x the strength, durability, and impact resistance of alternative
materials.  Unlike with real ivory, there is no routine care and
maintenance involved, with no danger of it drying out and cracking if not
maintained properly or if left in the heat.  It is produced with outstanding
aesthetic properties and mechanical performance.  When aged with our
exclusive aging process, it takes on the equivalent of a 100-year-old patina,
with subtle grain details which most experts cannot tell apart from the real
thing.  In addition, the material has a fine grain structure, which
holds intricate detail for carvings, artistic relief work, etc., found on many
historic grips.

About Our Aging Process:

We
go to great efforts to ensure that our Aged Ivory not only looks similar to real aged ivory, but in fact looks
identical to the real thing.  Our Magna-Tusk blanks will produce an aged
Ivory grip unlike any other material made today.  Through our slow aging process, these grips become
beautifully mottled, variegated, and weathered just like old, antique Ivory, and incorporate other authentic
details found on original old Ivory as seen on many of the revolvers which
belonged to gunfighters and lawmen of the Old West.  As with real aged Ivory, no two are exactly the
same.  Our process produces an authentic
appearance and genuine patina which extends deep into the surface.
Not
only does this give it the appearance of authenticity and depth, but this
surface will not chip, crack, or peel like a superficially applied
coating.
With Magna-Tusk aged grips, most experts
cannot tell them apart from a decades-old or even a centuries-old original.  While the quality difference is somewhat
noticeable in the photos, the difference is even more apparent when seen and
handled in person.  Many of our repeat
sales are made by the very customers we sell to, who take their grips to the
range or club, where our grips are immediately seen and noticed by others.  We are also capable of producing them with a
“clean” aged look if required (i.e., without the mottling, etc.), which is a
simpler process, although most would agree that they do not look quite as
authentic as our regular aged grips.  If
you are interested in ordering grips for a Brace of pistols, please order both
sets together, and we will ensure a good matchup.

Dense, heavy, and solid, Magna-Tusk grips are in a class all their
own.
With our exclusive aging process, these grips
are outstanding right out of the box, and will continue to improve over
time.  The more these grips are handled
and used, the better they look!
